How a Bias Bin trade works
Every trade runs the same steps — agreed terms, proof photos, two-way tracking, and a mutual confirm. It's built to be accountable, not to be an escrow: nothing is guaranteed, but if a trade goes wrong it lands on the at-fault trader's permanent public record.
The DM way
- Send first and hope they ship
- No proof the card is real
- No tracking, no recourse
- They can block you anytime
- Your word against theirs
The Bias Bin way
- Proof photos required before shipping
- Tracking entered on both sides
- Nothing completes until you both confirm
- A 7-day window if the other side goes quiet
- Permanent, public reputation
- 1
Propose a trade
Pick what you'll send and what you want back — from the BTS catalog or an off-catalog card. No money changes hands; trades are card-for-card.
- 2
Both confirm terms
Each side reviews and accepts exactly what they're sending and receiving. Either side can decline before anything ships.
- 3
Upload proof photos
Before shipping, both traders photograph the actual card they're sending — front and back. It's the paper trail if there's ever a dispute. No proof, no progress.
- 4
Ship with tracking
Both sides ship and enter a carrier and tracking number. The trade can't advance until both tracking numbers are in.
- 5
Delivery confirmed
Each package is marked delivered when it arrives. A 7-day window keeps a trade from stalling forever if the other side goes quiet.
- 6
Confirm & complete
When you've checked the card you received matches the terms, you confirm. Only when both confirm does the trade complete.
- 7
Leave a review
Both traders rate each other 1–5 stars with a written review. It's permanent and public — reputation you can't buy.
If a side doesn't ship, tracking stalls, or a card arrives wrong or damaged, open a dispute. It's reviewed and recorded on the at-fault trader's public reputation.
